GYFTA 光纜的結(jié)構(gòu)是將 250μm 光纖套入高模量材料制成的松套管中，松套管內(nèi)填充防水化合物。纜芯的中心是一根非金屬加強(qiáng)芯（FRP），對(duì)于某些芯數(shù)的光纜來說， 非金屬加強(qiáng)芯外還需擠上一層聚乙烯（PE）。松套管（和填充繩）圍繞中心加強(qiáng)芯絞合成緊湊和圓形的纜芯，纜芯內(nèi)的縫隙充以阻水填充物。涂塑鋁帶（APL）縱包后擠制聚乙烯護(hù)套成纜。

The fibers,  250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) locates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. After an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) moisture barrier is applied around the cable core, the cable is completed with a PE sheath.
