清掃口（cleanout）指的是裝在排水橫管上，用于清掃排水管的配件。其上口與地面齊平。1.　一般裝于橫管，尤其是各層橫支管連接衛生器具較多時，橫支管起點均應裝置清掃口（有時可用地漏代替）。當連接兩個及以上大便器或三個及以上衛生器具的鑄鐵橫支管、連接四個及四個以上的大便器的塑料橫支管上均宜設置清掃口。3.安裝須與地面平齊，排水橫管起點設置的清掃口一般與墻面保持不得小于0.15米得距離。當采用堵頭代替清掃口時，距離不得小于0.4m。3.作用：裝在排水橫管上，管道被堵時打開清掃口，可以疏通管道，相當于管道盡頭的堵頭。某些時候可以用地漏代替
